Solid, Simple and Perfect Loft

The plans were great and very accurate. My grandson loves the bed. It is probably the most solid piece of furniture in my entire house. Nice that the instructions told you when to move what piece inside. The sequencing was well thought out also. 2 things I would suggest though:
1. Tell the DIYer when to sand and how long they should expect this to take. I sanded after the 3 main sections were built and before moving them inside. Sanding construction lumber into something I would allow a child to sleep in, let alone paint or stain, took a lot longer than it did to cut and assemble the bed. If I had to do again, I would sand each piece before putting them together.
2. Maybe provide some guidance on raising or lowering the project. I made mine 10” taller and had to add 10” to the legs, and add an additional rung to the ladder, which required re-spacing them.

Clear instructions

Very clear plans, with 2 alternative cut lists. I needed a twin XL size bed, so I just added 5 inches to the long pieces.
