Worked well for me

I have a small shop space (roughly 10x 10) and have to make every inch count. Things like this are huge for me to minimize the floor space all my tools take up. The drawings are thorough and easily adaptable to your individual needs.

Great plan and instructions

Great plan and instructions. The side pieces are pretty awkward for cutting on the bandsaw but a jig saw made the slot cuts easily with adequate precision. I got the workbench casters from Amazon at a very reasonable price. really a fun project that will give me a little more floor space and make moving the planer easier than the base that came with it.

I’ve been wanting to build one of these for years.
I finally got around to it, it is a fun , useful weekend build. I actually have similar plans from the original magazine artical brad mentioned as his inspiration. I suppose I could have dug those out ,but down loading these Saved me the hassle of if locating that exact issue of the magazine and provided me the opportunity show Brad a little support for all the great content he provides.

And while I hate to be “ that guy “ I have to mention that the tool list did not include a tool capable of breaking down the sheet of ply wood. Other than than spot on , I would recommend these plans to anyone. Needing to make better use of a small shop.

Instructions a little skimpy.

Dimensions are not complete in diagrams. Assembly instructions are weak and skimpy. However, I believe the product will be a good one when completed.
