Tired of plywood, offcuts, and random wood all over your shop? Build this Mobile Wood Storage Cart and get a place for all your lumber! It's 6' long and 28" wide with storage on both sides and four interior shelves (plus an open top shelf). Add vertical wood storage on a small section or an entire side to fit your needs.
It's made from one sheet of 3/4" plywood and 8 2x4's and can be made with just a circular saw, miter saw, a pocket hole jig and set of drills. Add an optional sheet of ply to cover the interior and hold small parts on this wood rack.
You will get a 12 page PDF Plan of Cut Diagrams, Parts Lists, and 3D diagrams with detailed steps to build the project. Measurements are in imperial, not metric.

Worked well - I modified it a little but the overall design is great.
Very easy to understand , good design
One thing that makes this plan a little confusing is the build video. I guess it might be a good idea to include mistakes in the video but there seems to be a hole between where you started over and where you joined back with the plans. Something was missing.
Wasn't a big problem but it took watching the video and rereading the plans to sort it out. For this build I'd recommend not watching the video and just build it off the plans.
Im no engineer, but I opted to not install the 3/4 inch slats, instead, used 1/2 inch ply for the internal shelves, (one long piece per shelve).
This added the stability that the slats provided, and also freed up more space for sheet goods.
I also opted to make the rails on both sides significantly taller, and i’m glad i did, makes it easier to load more sheet goods when the rack is almost full. Might want to consider a steeper slope, because, when i load a lot of 1/4 inch ply it starts to stand vertically rather than lean in.
