Description

This Drill Press Stand is the perfect addition to organize all your drill press accessories and adds mobility to an essential shop tool. Five drawers create a ton of storage options. The cabinet is 16-1/2” wide, 25” deep and stands 34-1/2” tall with casters installed and can be made from just 1 sheet of 3/4" plywood, a little over a half sheet of 1/4" plywood, and some solid wood trim.

You will get a 9 page PDF Plan of Cut Diagrams, Parts Lists, and 3D diagrams with detailed steps to build the project. Measurements are in imperial, not metric.

First time FTBT user

This was the first time I built a FTBT project and I think I'd do it again if there was another project that met my needs/interest. The narration in the video tends to be a little fast sometimes and the build information is scattered between the video, the plans, and the photos on the website so you have to constantly flip back and forth to make sure you don't miss a step (there is a warning about this in the instructions). I think there were also a few inconsistencies in the various instructions. Less table saw footage and more detailed instruction would be good. For cost reasons, I didn't use Baltic Birch and I didn't build the fancy top so I had to improvise a way to not leave the front of the cabinet uncovered. Overall, the project met my expectations and is turning out to be very useful.
