Flip Top Tool Stand Plans

First set of plans from this site. I'm a 67 yo retired mom, with woodworking as one of my hobbies/passion among other things in retirement. Decided to build the flip cart after acquiring a planer and spindle sander for my small garage shop. Only thing I changed was the order of building the drawer, and placing the drawer slides in place before setting the shelf in place. I would have never been able to accurately install the drawer slides in such a small space had the shelf been in place in the order the plans had it. Otherwise, can't wait until it's done and these two items don't have to be moved off the table saw everytime I need it! Love watching your videos, as they are entertaining and informative every time!

Great design with easy instructions.

Just mounted my tools and it functions great. Ran into a couple of issues but worked them out. Couldn’t find any tube that was 3/4” OD. Ended up using 1/2” galvanized conduit and put a dado in one side of the top. Everything works fine and I’m ready for my next build. I highly recommend watching the video before starting. I didn’t do that and I had issues that were my fault. I liked the plans and would entertain getting more.

The plan was great - but it really helps to watch the video too!
