It's made from 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood and with wings extended it will support just under 4' of stock on each side, letting you make end cuts on 8' stock with the support you need.

The plans and on line video was very easy to follow. I added a drawer under the saw shelf. I use my miter saw almost daily, so the fold down wings hardly ever get folded down. However, the stand is quite compact once they are folded away for storage. Working on the lathe stand plans now.
Easy to follow and understand. Great build!
Good basic plan, be sure to measure your saw before starting. The Bosch saw is much larger than the plan saw making the cut list only somewhat relevant. The depth remains the same but the width and height of the sides is wider and taller. The wing supports also need to be taller. Otherwise the plan is a good guide as long as you plan ahead for the build that fits your saw. Also wait to cut holes in the back panel until you determine the vacuum and dust collector you'll be using. Thanks for the inspiration though, it turned out great!
Great plans, clear and easy to follow. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a great stand. I could only give 5 stars because 6 was not a option.
Great plans, well thought out. I had to adjust the measurements because my saw was a little bigger, but worked out well.
