This Modern Outdoor Chair has a sleek design and will look amazing on your deck or patio. The chair can be customized to fit your cushions, and is currently set for a 24”x24”x6” seat cushion. Lumber used for the build is cedar 2x4 and 1x4s. Other wood can be substituted to fit your style or budget. A table saw and miter saw will do the majority of the work on this build and give you great looking outdoor furniture!

You will get a 8 page PDF Plan of Cut Diagrams, Parts Lists, and 3D diagrams with detailed steps to build the project. Measurements are in imperial, not metric.

I enjoy watching your videos and building from your plans very much. I purchased the entire outdoor furniture plan group and am in the process of working through each of them. I have completed the Adirondack and the (other 2x4) modern outdoor chair. Will most likely put together a couple of Side Tables next. This is all great timing because our current outdoor furniture is getting a little long-in-the-tooth.

Great chair plan

I completely enjoyed working with this plan. The plan itself is straightforward and what I liked most was the variety of tools (table saw, miter saw, router table, sander, drill/driver) and techniques needed to complete the two chairs I made. Totally fun.
